Bahamut appear as a large and long, silver-white and blue scaled, catlike-eyed dragon. The color of Bahamut's scales changes based upon his mood, ranging from sky-blue to frosty indigo. Bahamut also appears as a human named Oerth. He has been seen as an old beggar with seven golden wyrms disguised as seven singing canaries Webmail.

Bahamut's realm is located beyond the East Wind in the Elemental Plane of Air in a place called Bahamut's Palace.

Worshipers include lawful good paladins, metallic dragons, and monarchs that are crowned in his name. Worshipers of Bahamut are commanded to:

• uphold the ideals of honor and justice
• oppose evil on all fronts
• protect the weak, liberate the oppressed, and defend just order
